Village Event Park
The intention with the latest open space development “Village Event Park” is for Community members to enjoy a modernized and designed space to suit community entertainment needs. The goal is to have architects and designers create a blueprint of the space, and give suggestions for landscaping. Lot amenities will include stationary seating, game tables, food tables, and grill pits. Village Event Park will become a beautiful and feasible outdoor event space for community members to gather.
Butterfly Park
The goal behind the project "is to turn a lot in the community into something beautiful." This new park is being constructed in the space between 25th Street, Sedgley Ave., and West Dauphin Street. Designed by community members, the park will include a bench, a hammock, butterfly lights, and a sign welcoming visitors to the space.
